Data Types: Working with vector, raster, and attribute tables.
Sourcing: Downloading spatial data from public databases.
Hands-on: Adding layers, managing CSVs, and changing symbology.
Class 03: Creating Your First Map
Layout Essentials: Adding titles, north arrows, legends, and scalebars.
Labeling: Customizing simple labels, expressions, and visibility ranges.
Output: Managing geodatabases and exporting maps as PDFs or images.
Project: Create a simple "Study Area" map.
Class 04: Advanced Attribute Handling

Class 05 & 06: Core Geoprocessing Tools
Primary Tools: Mastering Clip, Intersect, and Union.
Advanced Tools: Using Dissolve, Buffer, and Merge for spatial analysis.
Practice: Practical examples and Q&A sessions for tool troubleshooting.
Class 07: Applied GIS Project Work
Highway Project: Mapping upazilas near a national highway using Buffer.
Demographics: Creating a population density map.
Field Data: Recording GPS data using third-party tools and integrating it with GIS.
Class 08: Introduction to Remote Sensing
Acquisition: Obtaining and downloading satellite data.
Processing: Importing and processing raster data in ArcGIS.
Calculations: Performing NDVI (Vegetation), NDWI (Water), and NDSI (Snow/Ice) indices.
Class 09: Advanced Remote Sensing Hands-On
Conversions: Vector to raster (interpolation) and raster to vector (classification).
Terrain: Creating elevation maps and generating contour lines from satellite imagery.
Final Review: Combining GIS and Remote Sensing outputs for research.
